What results have you achieved with clients?

In the interest of being honest, transparent and truthful, over the past 20 years of coaching all of the results that have been achieved have not been mine; they are my clients’ results. According to the International Coach Federation, coaching is defined as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” The coach is the subject matter expert at coaching, not necessarily the subject matter expert of the client’s coaching topic.

What do I need to know before we begin?

This is an intense process – make sure you give yourself plenty of time.

This will require consistent action on your part and your whole attention to get results. If you are planning a two-week vacation in the middle of our time or batting off your toddler constantly during our calls, it would be better to wait to begin the program until you get back or get a babysitter, so that you can devote your time and energy to it.

It is important you understand that you are 100% responsible for your own progress and results. You are the one element over which I have no control. I cannot guarantee outcomes, but I will do everything I can to help you.

In order to work with me you must meet the following guidelines:

  1. My clients must be inspiring or have an inspiring mission.
  2. They must make, or be ready to make, a big impact in the world.
  3. They must be fun.
  4. They must bring along a challenge (I’m not looking for an easy ride).
  5. And they must understand the power of commitment.
  6. They must have personal discipline, courage, grit and be decisive.
